I made street signs for political organizations that no longer exist or have never existed, and placed them throughout Beirut. The work explores social movements in Lebanon in the 60s and 70s, and the renaissance of leftist politics across the Arab world then and now. The signs connect and overlap references to popular and political history, reflecting a promising yet disparate moment.
